Five people were injured on Monday evening in the Ramat Gan area of central Israel after a missile, reportedly fired from Lebanon, struck the region. Magen David Adom (MDA) confirmed the injuries, including a 54-year-old woman in serious condition, and three others with moderate injuries. One person sustained light wounds. The attack caused damage to buildings and an empty bus.

Initially, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) suggested the damage was caused by missile debris from an interception. However, local police and municipal officials later confirmed the area had been directly hit by the missile. Security investigations at the scene supported this conclusion, revealing that the missile had struck the ground after being intercepted at high altitude, scattering debris across the area.

In response to the attack, multiple rocket sirens sounded across central Israel, including Tel Aviv, while the IDF intercepted a hostile drone in the north. Authorities continued to search for possible additional victims or damage in the aftermath of the strike. The injured were transferred to Rabin Medical Center in Petah Tikva for treatment.
