Israeli forces opened fire on two suspects who were allegedly hurling Molotov cocktails at Route 60 near the Palestinian village of al-Khader, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported.

According to the IDF, members of the 636th Combat Intelligence Collection Unit spotted the individuals and engaged them during a stakeout operation. The military confirmed that the suspects were hit, though their conditions were not specified.

No injuries or damage resulted from the firebombs thrown at the highway, the IDF added. The incident underscores ongoing tensions in the West Bank as security forces continue to respond to attacks on key roadways.
