Iran confirmed it will continue talks with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), with another round expected soon, state media reported Sunday. The discussions come amid strained relations following the June Israel-US airstrikes that destroyed several Iranian nuclear sites.

IAEA inspectors have been barred from entering Iran since the attacks. While IAEA chief Rafael Grossi has emphasized the need for renewed inspections, Tehran insists negotiations should not include site visits.

Iran has accused the IAEA of paving the way for the bombings through a May 31 report that declared Tehran in breach of nuclear obligations. Despite the standoff, both sides are keeping diplomatic channels open, though little progress has been made.
