The humanitarian crisis in Gaza has reached critical levels, with international aid agencies warning that starvation is spreading due to insufficient aid access and security chaos.

While Israel blames the UN for not picking up aid from border crossings, former U.S. humanitarian envoy David Satterfield says Israel’s military controls, damaged roads, and looting have paralyzed operations. He insists the solution is to “flood the zone” — send in 350 trucks daily, not just a trickle.

Aid from the controversial GHF (Gaza Humanitarian Foundation), backed by Israel and the U.S., continues, but critics say it displaces Palestinians and puts them in danger. The UN refuses to partner with GHF, citing safety and political concerns.

Starvation, not propaganda, is the reality now, say experts. And unless aid is dramatically scaled up, the worst may still lie ahead.
