Israeli warplanes bombed a power station and two ports in Houthi-controlled Yemen on Friday, retaliating against the group’s drone and missile attacks on Israel.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned, “The Iran-backed Houthi militia are paying and will continue to pay a heavy price for their aggression against us.”
Pro-Houthi media reported that at least three people were injured in the airstrikes. The Houthis have launched repeated attacks on Israel and international shipping since November 2023, prompting airstrikes from Israel, Britain, and the United States in response.
