Jerusalem’s Malha Mall or Jerusalem Mall

Jerusalem’s Malha Mall, formally known as Jerusalem Mall, is one of the most popular shopping malls in the area. It has an indoor selection of stores and eateries for those looking for a more relaxed and low-key experience.

Malha Mall is the largest mall in the country, and is situated in a metropolitan area outside of Jerusalem. It provides a full shopping experience with prominent Israeli and worldwide stores that sell clothing, jewelry, beauty items, electronics, and more.

There are also a number of great restaurants in the food stalls, cafes, grocery store which is open on Fridays and Saturdays, and even a play area for kids. With its convenient access to main transportation lines, this complex is an important part of Jerusalem’s urban amenities.

The Jerusalem Mall (Malcha) and its surroundings provide a focal point for the district and the city of Jerusalem. It also serves as a hub for the surrounding settlements such as Beit Shemesh, Gush Etzion, and other nearby neighborhoods.

The Jerusalem’s Malcha Mall is conveniently located to provide 3,000 parking spaces with 2000 on-site and another 1,000 across the street at Teddy Stadium.

Additionally, the mall provides many different transportation resources for local residents. Taxi routes, bus lines, and the only working train station in Jerusalem all provide easy access to the mall. According to data collected by the mall’s management, an average of 35,000 people visit it every day

Jerusalem’s Malha Mall is also close to various noteworthy sites, such as Teddy Stadium, Ein Yael Active Museum and many other prominent attractions in the city.

The mall, originally opened in 1993, contains 260 stores on three levels, a shopping center of 37,000 square metres , and office area of 3,000 square metres.

The Azrieli Group, Israel’s premier builder of retail mega-destinations, established Jerusalem’s biggest shopping mall, essentially heralding a comeback in the area. The mall, along with the Malcha Technological Park as well as Teddy Stadium, was created by the group, creating a new center of attraction in the city. In total, David Azrieli constructed seven malls in Israel and Malha Mall being one them.
