On Monday, Qatar will host an emergency summit of Arab and Islamic leaders in response to Israel’s recent strike on Hamas terrorists in Doha. The draft resolution circulating ahead of the meeting accuses Israel of “genocide” and “ethnic cleansing,” while conveniently ignoring the mass slaughter and hostage-taking carried out by Hamas on October 7, 2023.

For nearly two years, Israel has been forced into a war it did not choose, fighting a genocidal enemy that murdered 1,200 civilians — men, women, and children — and dragged hundreds more into captivity. While Israel defends itself, Qatar and its allies portray terrorists as victims, attempting to undermine peace agreements such as the Abraham Accords.

The hypocrisy is glaring. Qatar continues to host Hamas leaders in five-star hotels, funds propaganda against Israel, and fuels instability in Gaza — all while presenting itself as a “mediator.” Now, it seeks to rally Arab states to sever ties with Israel, a move that would punish the only democracy in the Middle East for daring to defend its citizens.

Despite international pressure, Israel’s mission remains unchanged: dismantle Hamas, rescue the hostages, and secure its borders. No summit or resolution will change that reality. The Jewish people know from history that silence in the face of terror leads only to more bloodshed. Israel refuses to remain silent.

The world may criticize, but Israel’s cause is just: to defend Jewish lives, ensure Jewish survival, and safeguard the future of the Jewish homeland. That is non-negotiable.
