Two people were injured after several rockets directly hit Nahariya on Monday night, Magen David Adom (MDA) reported. A woman in her 70s was listed in severe condition, while a man in his 80s suffered light injuries from an ear wound. Several others are being treated for anxiety.

The mayor of Nahariya, Ronen Marli, urged residents to stay indoors, warning that more rocket fire could follow. “It will be tough, whether or not there is a ceasefire,” he said, stressing the importance of following the Home Front Command’s safety instructions. Marli advised residents to remain in protected rooms or shelters for the next 48 hours if possible.

The rocket attack followed alerts across the Western Galilee, with the IDF confirming that ten rockets were fired from Lebanon, some of which were intercepted. MDA medics and paramedics responded to the scene, treating the wounded and those affected by the psychological toll of the attack. The situation remains tense, with authorities urging continued vigilance and adherence to safety protocols.
