The Israeli military confirmed conducting overnight airstrikes in southern Syria, targeting radar systems, detection equipment, and military sites. The strikes aimed at assets used to gather aerial intelligence, as well as weapons and military equipment belonging to the Syrian regime.
According to the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), these military installations posed a direct threat to Israel’s security and operations. “These targets were attacked to eliminate future threats,” the IDF stated.
Tensions in the region remain high as Israel continues to take action against perceived security risks near its borders.
