London police arrested at least 450 people Saturday during the largest protest yet in support of the recently banned group Palestine Action.

The group, outlawed under UK anti-terror laws in July, has targeted Israeli defense contractors and British military sites over the Israel-Hamas war. The ban followed a June break-in at an RAF base where activists damaged tanker planes.

Attendees in Parliament Square held signs like “Oppose genocide, support Palestine Action.” Police said anyone visibly supporting the group faced arrest.

Critics, including Amnesty International, call the ban an attack on free speech. The government says members are linked to serious violent acts and extensive criminal damage.
