Israeli authorities confirmed late last night that a body recovered from Gaza belongs to one of the remaining hostages, though the name has not yet been released. Six other hostages are still believed to be held by terror groups in the Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, newly freed hostage Rom Braslavski shared harrowing details of his captivity under Islamic Jihad. Braslavski said he endured repeated sexual assault and torture while being held underground, describing conditions that Israeli officials called “systematic abuse.”

Israeli leaders condemned the ongoing hostage crisis as both a humanitarian catastrophe and a psychological campaign by terror groups, who have previously returned partial remains to torment families.

The Hostages and Missing Families Forum urged international pressure to secure the return of all captives, alive or deceased.
