The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have once again shown their unwavering dedication and courage in the face of adversity. Major Dvir Zion Revah, a respected company commander in the 932nd Battalion of the Nahal Brigade, made the ultimate sacrifice during a battle in the northern Gaza Strip on Monday. His funeral will be held today in Jerusalem.
This tragic loss follows the death of his deputy, Captain Eitan Israel Shiknazi, who was killed in the same incident when an anti-tank missile struck their unit. Two other soldiers were seriously wounded in the attack.
Operating in the Beit Hanoun area of northern Gaza for the third time in significant operations, these brave soldiers exemplified the valor and commitment of the IDF. Major Revah and Captain Shiknazi’s heroism and sacrifice are a testament to the dedication of the men and women who serve in the IDF, always putting their lives on the line to protect their homeland and its people. Their legacy will inspire future generations to uphold the noble values of courage, duty, and selfless service.
